Your club journey will usually begin at our shorter ranges based just outside Longtown in Cumbria, where you will be given full training in the safe use and operation of a variety of guns during a Probationary period. After full training has been passed you will then progress to our longer ranges across the border and really begin to develop your skills at target acquisition, and engagement, load development and precision and accuracy in some very challenging conditions!

Longtown Range has 10 fully covered benches with the ability to shoot targets at 25, 50, 100, 150 & 200 yards. The clubhouse has plenty of free parking and kitchen facilities with free tea and coffee. The building is large enough to accommodate groups of up to 20 visitors and is frequently used to host parties, training days and is a great alternative Stag/Hen venue, contact us for details of costs and availability. We also offer the Club Introduction Experience, using .22 rifles in a safe and controlled environment with help and supervision from our fully trained instructors, suitable from ages 8 yrs upwards the cost is just £25 for Juniors (8yrs to 17yrs) and £55 for Adults, a great Christmas or Birthday idea for those hard to please!

Fully trained members can access our Longtown facility Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, with Probationary Training being offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays only, 10-4. Booking is via this website and range fees can be covered by a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION (£25 a month, unlimited visits) or by paying card online (£25 per day)
